This 2005 research was conducted by the Centre for Applied Cross-Cultural Research at Victoria University of Wellington. It includes a survey of domestic students and teachers in secondary, tertiary and language school sectors, a national survey of New Zealand households, focus groups with teachers from across the sectors and interviews with key stakeholders such as education, accommodation and entertainment providers and local government organisations.
